Discovery Worship Service at 8:45 a.m. Each Sunday

Our Discovery service provides a variety of contemporary and traditional music in small ensembles and solos. and is led by the Discovery Worship Team.

                 Traditional Worship Service at 11:00 a.m. each Sunday

Features the Gress-Miles organ, which is one of the largest pipe organs in central Virginia.  Also supporting our services is our Instrumental Ensemble which accompanies hymns on a regular basis, including Advent, Palm Sunday, Easter, and fourth Sundays.

The purpose of our music ministry is:

• to provide music that proclaims the Gospel message, offers opportunity for worship, and communicates God's peace, hope and joy
• To provide an opportunity for the use of musical talents and interests
• To provide an opportunity for worship expression, creative activities, fellowship, and the improvement of musical skills
• To encourage an appreciation for the significant heritage of church music

          Featured Choirs

The Children's Choirs provide music for worship services through the school year. Rehearsal times are:

• Cherub Choir or(Preschoolers): Each Wednesday at 5:25 p.m.
• K-Grade 2:  Sunday, 5-5:30 p.m.
• Grades 3-5: Sunday, 5:30-6:00 p.m.

Our Sanctuary Choir Rehearses on Thursdays, 7-8:30 p.m.

The Discovery Singers Rehearse on Wednesdays from 7-8:00 p.m.

The Handbell Choir Rehearsals are on Thursdays from 5:30-6:30 p.m.
