Anniversary
Heritage: Making a
Difference For Christ
January 31st -
Anniversary Celebration "Past"
Rev. Tom Joyce
will be our guest Preacher this Sunday. Rev Joyce
served as Pastor Heritage from 1985 through 1991.
A reception will follow each service in the Tower Room,
stop in and meet Rev. Joyce and see lots of pictures and
memorabilia from Heritage's beginning. We will
also have several guests present from our first days at
Heritage.

THANK YOU!!!
On
Saturday, January 23rd the Lynchburg District Training
event was held here at Heritage. With over 250
participants and 22 different classes it was a full day
and full building! A very special thank you goes
to the many volunteers who helped with set up, greeted
and directed participants, got the computers and
projectors working, preparation of meals and putting
everything back in its regular place at the end.
What
a wonderful church family! Thank you!

Piano and
Organ Recital
Kazuyo
Shimizu and Nathan Stewart will present a joint piano
and organ recital at Heritage UMC on Friday, February 5
at 7:00 pm. All are invited to this free concert.
Ms.
Shimizu received her BM in piano from Liberty University
and is pursuing a Master of Music degree in piano at the
University of Tennessee, in Knoxville, TN. She
studies with Dr. David Northington. Mr. Stewart is
also a student at UT, pursuing a Bachelor of Music
degree in organ, studying with Prof. John Brock.
Works by Bach, Beethoven, Franck, Liszt, Mendelssohn,
Vaughn-Williams, and Vierne will be
performed.
